It’s sad, but statistic show that around 70% of people do not like their job for one reason or another. Are you one of them? If you relate, please keep on reading, as I believe this will be of interest to you.

Having a job you hate affects all aspects of your life. Every day turns into a constant slog that you wish to be over. You wait for the weekends, hoping they’ll last forever but they never do, and before you know it, the cycle repeats itself. I’ve been there. I know this feeling all too well.

You see, when I first got a job as a Health Educator, I thought I was one of the few lucky ones. After all I loved my field of work and this was one of the most important Clinics where I lived. However, the first thing I realized was that the pay actually wasn’t that good. It was middle of the road, at best. The next thing I noticed was that the environment was awful. It was a cold, soulless place; a floor filled with small cubicles and lack of personalization. Nobody smiled or talked much. Every person was behind their desk and the boss was demanding and unreasonable.

My schedule was awful too. One day I could start at 7am and then have a presentation at 7pm. And since they were not going to pay for over-time, I had a few hours to kill in the middle of the day. I could not go home as the traffic was awful so I ended wasting a lot of time. Needless to say, I had very little time for myself, and the never-ending quest to please a boss who simply couldn’t be pleased. I was tired all the time, had no social life, and even my health was suffering. I had stomach pains from eating in a rush, and my sleeping schedule was out-of-whack. It was awful.

Fast forward and I’m now working online, enjoying the freedom of no schedule and no boss. So when I found The Tesla Code Secrets program, I was very excited for those that have been in my shoes (and frankly, very sad for myself as this program was not around when I was working at the Clinic!)

Truth is, when it comes to getting anything you want in life, sometimes ‘hard work‘ can be a bad thing. Like working 2 to 3 jobs at a time just to pay the bills, for example. Now, don’t get me wrong. Working hard in something you love, where you get paid well and where you’re treated with respect is awesome; however, statistics don’t lie. Remember the 70% I was talking about earlier? Exactly!

You may not notice it but most of the time… The harder we work, the less tome we take to enjoy life. The more we try, the more things get in our way. In fact, you should be doing the opposite. No wonder they call it the rat-race!

When you hear Prosperity Consciousness… what comes to mind?

Do you think of it as a special talent or ability that just a few people possess to accumulate as much riches as they desire? Or… do you think there is a way for you to get this prosperity consciousness so you too, can attract abundance to your life rather effortlessly?

If you answered yes to the first question, know that your belief system is what’s interfering with your realizing your prosperity. Achieving wealth is directly related to your beliefs about money … and about yourself. What you say or think about money affects your level of prosperity. Thus, changing your beliefs around money and prosperity should be the #1 priority in your list if what you want is to achieve prosperity.

Or… was your answer affirmative to the second question? If so, know that your belief is aligned with your purpose, and that is a great starting point. The next step is to learn and follow just a handful of key principles that once applied, will give you the power to change your life for the better.But let’s start at the beginning…

What exactly is prosperity consciousness?

Prosperity Consciousness is a term that was made popular by the New Age Movement in the late 60’s but in reality, the origin of this principle dates back to the beginning of time. Prosperity Consciousness refers to the belief that there are innumerable financial possibilities around us at any given time and in spite of the state of the economy, our education, our job or any other outer circumstances.

Prosperity Consciousness is a way of thinking that once acquired, will give you the power to create the prosperous life you so much desire.

As you know, one of the main principles of the law of attraction states that ‘like attracts like.’ When we think about old adages such as “you reap what you sow“, and “birds of a feather flock together” we can interpret them as ‘like attracts like.’

One of the ideologies around prosperity consciousness is that the universe encompasses everything, and as such it is abundant and where abundance comes from. Based on this, you can have what you want if you only believe that it’s possible and decide to constantly focus on that belief until it becomes a part of who you are.

Three important aspects to consider related to prosperity

First, prosperity is not the result of chance or luck. If it was just luck or random chance, you wouldn’t be able to control it. On the contrary, prosperity is completely under your control.

Second, you must realize that there is enough for everyone in this planet. You must let go of any scarcity thinking and get rid of the guilt associated with having prosperity because no one has to go without for you to have what you want. Prosperity Consciousness is acquiring the belief that we live in an abundant planet.

Third, if you want prosperity in your life, you must change your relationship with money. You’ve got to know deep inside that you deserve to live in abundance; deserve being the main keyword in this phrase.

There may be a need to work on the subconscious to acquire these beliefs. Once you are aware that money and prosperity aren’t things you achieve through luck or by taking away from others, you will feel that you can have as much as you want and remain guilt-free.

This belief will help you steer away from bad decisions because you won’t feel like you have to rush into getting your share before someone else takes it. It will also give you insight and patience, which are essential in the manifesting process.

There’s no need to fight or compete for prosperity and abundance since there’s enough for everyone in the universe. The need is to focus on the proper thoughts and make sure you believe that you can have prosperity for your own benefit and that of those that you come in contact with, which you can achieve by being of sevice to others doing whaveter fulfills your purpose and makes your heart sing with joy. Once your belief in this truth solidifies, your only job is to start giving and welcome prosperity into your life.

Whether you decide to pray, use affirmationsvisualization or ask the universe at large for the things you want – as Esther Hicks suggests- you must put out the invitation for those things to come into your life. By doing so, you create around yourself an aura of openness and acceptance to the abundance and prosperity that you say you want.

Do this and you’ll have acquired a prosperity consciousness.

Do this and you’ll start the flow of abundance into your life at once.

Do this and you’d have become a prosperity magnet.

Belief in the possibility of things to happen PLUS Faith in a Higher Power and in yourself PLUS Enthusiasm EQUALS Prosperity Consciousness. Let’s explore this a bit further…

First, take a few moments to revise your dreams and goals… do you believe in your heart they are possible or do you just enjoy daydreaming and think of them as pipe dreams? Beware… your mind can be your best ally of your worst enemy and will try to dissuade you from pursuing your dreams.

If you truly believe your dreams are a possibility, consider that everything of value that exists was first conceived in somebody’s mind. This mind had to have the firm belief that the goal was 100% possible before it became a tangible reality.

Once the belief is rooted, things get set in motion. Now it’s just a matter of following a few steps for it to manifest in the physical realm.

This is where faith comes into play. Do you have faith in yourself? Do you have faith in a Higher Power that guides you? Really… do you have FAITH? It’s been said that the first step for anything is the hardest and that is true. Sometimes we fear that first step so badly that we never venture into even trying. The underlying cause is lack of self-confidence, lack of belief in the possibility and/or lack of faith in your dream and/or in your ability to create it.

So… If you notice that fear is the cause of your not moving forward, faith is your answer. Faith will give you the courage to take that first step… faith in your Higher Power that is guiding you in the right direction, and faith in yourself; in your abilities to undertake whatever you have set your mind to achieve.

If you discover that you are clueless as to where or how to start, you must seek the knowledge to go about what you want to do in order to get what you want. This is where purpose meets service with a definite goal in mind. The important thing here is to take that first step based on faith alone. Every step will get easier as you go. You will notice that faith will be fueling every step and you’ll become stronger and better at it as you go.

And if you feel that something might be blocking you, remember that your subconscious mind can be reprogrammed to bring riches into your life. Keep thinking of this with conviction and take action regardless. You’ll watch the blocks slowly melting away as you get into the flow. You possess the power to command invisible forces to effortlessly attract wealth.

It is all within you. Courage and self-confidence are absolutely essential to achieving prosperity. And when you’ve got these, you become enthusiastic!

Do you ever find yourself wondering why some succeed at a certain task while others don’t? Training aside, would you believe me if I told you that much of success has to do with your ability to focus your mind and concentrate on one task at a time?

From mundane daily tasts and all the way to manifesting larger things in life, this happens at every level. Let’s explore this in more detail…

In today’s high paced world, one of the biggest challenges for most of us is to keep our mind quiet and focused even if for a few moments sometimes! Think about it…

From TV commercials, highway billboards, cell phones ringing, traffic, newspapers, radio, documents and files at work – and yes, the Internet, social media and the like, we’re being bombarded most every minute of the day with all kinds of information. Hey, we are living in the Information Age after all!  🙂

Now let’s see what goes on inside our brains… like an overworked librarian classifying information and organizing books at ultra speed, our brains are constantly struggling to decide what to let “in”, what to keep, what to file, what to ignore, and what to discard completely. On top of that, there are the subjective thoughts that go on in our minds on automatic… you know, the kinds of thoughts such as the argument with your partner this morning, taking the car for an oil change, paying the bills, the PTA meeting tomorrow morning, picking the suit up from the cleaners, deadlines at work, etc. etc. And then again, while all of this is happening, we are supposed to perform at work and at home… Wow! No wonder we feel exhausted at the end of the day!

Something similar happens when we are trying to manifest a larger goal.  You see, we’ve heard plenty of times about the power of thought, and how we can give life to our thoughts and create physical things. After all, every single thing was first conceived as a thought. These are the very principles of the law of attraction… we get what we think about most of the time… right? But with scattered thoughts it is close to impossible to manifest anything.

Due to all of this, we must consider this vital element that too many people overlook when trying to get a daily task done or manifesting something larger. It is called concentration or focused attention, and when you think about it, this element cannot be ignored if what you want is to take a thought from your mind into physical form, be it delivering a report on time or the 2 week Greek island cruise you’ve been dreaming of for a while.

When you learn to firmly concentrate all of your attention on one particular thought or thing at a time, all of your thoughts and actions are on target with your one specific goal. Now, this does not mean that you just concentrate in one thing day in and day out until it’s completed and ignore all others. What it means is to focus ALL of your attention when you are at something, even if it takes just a few minutes. For instance, you focus your attention 100% to write your report when you sit down to write it. Yiu leave every other thing out of your mind while you write it, however long it takes. Then, you can dedicate 15 minutes of complete focus to visualizing your Greek cruise later in the day.

Realize that the secret is to use the power of concentration while you are doing a task, instead of letting your mind wander into other things while you’re at it. Got it?

Once you discover that the ability to focus your attention on one thing at a time is one of the best things you can do to prevent fatigue, overwhelm, and unnecesary stress, you’ll understand how trying to tackle several things at once has hindered your performance as well as your manifesting efforts. You’ll also clearly see why you’ve been getting the kind of results that you’ve got.

At this point it is safe to say that you must make the learning of focus and concentration a priority. Is that right?

The good news is that concentration is not something you’re born with but a skill that can be learned. Learning to control your mind and get focused could mean the difference between living aimlessly and living on purpose.

Do I have your attention now?

As you waste less time you experience faster results… And if that wasn’t enough, you also become more efficient because your mind is not being bugged with useless thoughts (what shirt whould I wear tomorrow? – kind of thoughts.) As a result, your fresher and less cluttered mind starts going on override, which will get you new ideas that you couldn’t have thought of when your thoughts were all scattered and your mind cluttered.

How’s that for increasing your performance, manifesting, and achievement?

One of my favorite New Thought Movement authors, Theron Q. Dumont (William Walker Atkinson), author of “Personal Magnetism“, “Practical Memory Training” and yes, The Power of Concentration among several others, wrote…

“It is of the utmost value to learn how to concentrate.”

To succeed at anything you must be able to concentrate your entire thought upon the idea you are working on. You must be able to set all other tasks and obligations aside – for the time being. Know that the person that is able to concentrate utilizes all constructive thoughts and shuts out all destructive ones.

The greatest man would accomplish nothing if he lacked concentration. There is actually nothing that you cannot achieve when you dominate the power of concentration!

You’ve heard it before. To succeed at anything, you must develop a Success Mind Set but what exactly is “mind set” and how can we use it to our advantage?

Mindset is best described as the mental attitude that takes shape based on life experiences, environment, education and the ideas of the people we interact with the most.

 

Your mindset influences your interpretation of life’s events and predetermines the way in which you commonly respond to situations. Eventually, your frequent responses settle and become habits, and they give rise to your predominant state of mind.

People with a positive mindset tend to find opportunity in every problem. They are problem solvers by nature while those with a negative mindset feel as if the world is collapsing under their feet every time they encounter an unpleasant life experience.

Obviously, these people’s attitudes are not conductive to creating a state of stability, optimism, well-being and success. For them, a small thing can translate into a huge problem, it’s hard for them to think outside the box, they can’t seem to find solutions, they become easily confused and overwhelmed, and they seem to live in a state of constant anxiety, stress and crisis. Life seems like a real burden for them!

Interestingly, it is not that these people have out of the ordinary, tougher circumstances or a mountain of unusual problems as compared to their counterparts.

You’ve probably met someone that becomes really anxious at something you wouldn’t even consider a big deal. These individuals don’t have the proper mindset to go through the ups and downs of life without an enormous amount of stress. Usually, they are clueless of the fact that while they have no control of circumstances, they do have total control of how they react to those circumstances.

Their thoughts are the starting point for solving -or not- every problem in life.

In short, having a “Can Do” attitude is the main difference between people with a mindset for success and people who live in confusion and feel crushed at the slightest sign of trouble.

Mind set is directly linked to Thoughts, and… Thoughts become Things.

Here is an example to better understand this concept… Take a look at the chair you’re sitting on while reading this article. Before it existed as a physical object, it was conceived in somebody’s imagination. After that initial idea, the thought of building it came to mind and -eventually- after planing and acting on the idea, it was made a reality. That person had the correct mindset, one of creativity and expectancy of positive outcome.

Now imagine if the person thinking about that chair believed it was going to be a huge problem or insurmountable task task to build it, that nobody would like to sit on chairs, that it was a silly idea, that people were better off without chairs, etc. etc… with the wrong mindset, the list of excuses could be unlimited!

Realize that every single thing ever -tangible or not- created by humans, either positive or negative, started as a thought in someone’s mind. Without the proper mindset and optimistic outlook, we’d still be living in caves and sitting on rocks!

Thus, you are the result of your most common thoughts, the ones you have had throughout your lifetime which have brought about very specific results. While we all have positive and negative thoughts throughout our lives, the life experience we manifest at any given time represents the sum our most predominant thoughts.

Thoughts are powerful indeed. As conscious beings, we have the privilege to control them –by choice. Unfortunately, this is not what most people do. They unconsciously allow their minds to jump from one thought to the next allowing their thoughts to rule their lives without even being aware of it.

But, the important question here is… now that you know what’s going on between your ears, what kind of thoughts will you choose? And most importantly, what kind of life will you choose to lead?

Will you live a life controlled by random thoughts or will you choose your thoughts carefully and develop a success mindset on purpose?

When you get a hold of your thoughts you have the power to create wonderful things in your life, all by just taking command, training and instructing your mind to think properly.

You get to choose what you think!!

Thoughts can be changed and conformed to our advantage, and with this awareness we can develop the right attitude and the mindset needed to succeed at anything we want.

You now you know… you can direct your thoughts at will. All of a sudden the clichéd phrase Success is a MindSet makes perfect sense. Doesn’t it?

OK, so success is a state of mind but… is that all we need to achieve goals in life?

Many people still claim that more than mindset, success is only the natural result of proper planning, actual preparation, and focused, relentless action.

This is actually true, but there are a number of exceptions that oppose this common belief. If you have ever wondered why two people with the exact same circumstances and with similar goals don’t get the same results, you know that there must be something less obvious that contributed to the success of one and the failure of the other.

Do you believe it has to do with resolve or determination, or maybe with timing or mere luck? It is true that many elements play a part in it; however, more often than not, the main factor is what is going on inside their head. Adopting a success mindset is the determining factor which makes a world of difference between success and failure, regardless of other circumstances. What’s more, some people will achieve success even though the circumstances seem to be all against them.

Feeling Overwhelmed?

Feeling Overwhelmed?

Feeling overwhelmed during the Holiday Season or during a special occasion or event such as the planning of a wedding, presenting an exam, or going on a trip, is considered relatively normal as most of us are capable of handling these types of temporary situations successfully. However, living in a constant state of overwhelm has become the norm rather than the exception for many people.

Chronic overwhelm is one of the most debilitating emotions. It is a sensation that cannot easily be brushed under the rug while expecting it to disappear altogether just a few days after the main trigger has been dealt with. Moreover, if ignored indefinitely, the consequences become a burden on the overall well-being of the affected person.

Depending on how you handle stress as an individual, the effects of this condition may take time to become evident but ultimately, feeling overwhelmed regularly can affect your mind, body and spirit unless you learn to implement steps to recognize and alleviate it.

So, what do you do when you are feeling overwhelmed? Or better yet, are you even aware that you might be in a constant state of overwhelm? This is an important question to ask yourself as the feeling itself prevents the awareness… and you cannot work on making anything better unless you are first aware that the problem exists.

Let’s explore the mechanics of the condition.

The feeling of overwhelm derives from the stress caused by your reactions to life’s ups and downs. The anxiety caused by a rushed lifestyle, in a cluttered environment, an overbooked schedule, and not enough hours in the day to tackle all those things on your “to-do” list, eventually cause a sense of hopelessness.

Much like a snow ball going downhill, as you get more responsibilities and obligations, hopelessness increases and the feeling of overwhelm grows larger until it can wreck havoc on your nervous system and your health.

The problem is that it is not easy to become aware of your state precisely because you are so busy ‘at it’!

And, since the feeling feeds on stress, it becomes a vicious cycle. The more stress and worry the more tension and overwhelm, so much so that it becomes a part of life.

Here are a few pointers for you to ponder upon and help you identify if you are caught up in this cycle…

  • Do you frequently feel irritable or on the edge for no apparent reason?
  • Have you lost your sense of humor? Can you remember the last time you laughed out loud?
  • Do you feel a strange need of keeping busy even when the daily usual tasks have been completed?
  • Do you feel like you are spinning your wheels and getting nowhere?
  • Have you lost your enthusiasm for those activities that used to excite you?
  • Do you feel like life is getting ahead of you?
  • Do you feel like no matter how much you do,you’ll never get caught up?

From Overwhelm to Clarity

The feeling of overwhelm intensifies every time a new task gets added to your already overtaxed schedule. The resulting sensation is one of inadequacy, wanting to give up, anxiety, sadness, and even depression. As you are probably aware, your emotional health eventually affects your physical health unless you take measures to solve this situation.

Let’s now explore what happens inside when you are feeling overwhelmed:

Once a stressor is present, the adrenal glands –that sit atop the kidneys- go on override to produce cortisol, the stress hormone that helps us during the “fight or flight”response. This physiological response is natural and meant to last only a short time. Under normal circumstances, once the threat is gone, the cortisol levels dwindle down, until the need arises again. This is a wonderful mechanism of the body with the purpose of keeping us safe and well.

However, when we are chronically overwhelmed, the levels of cortisol remain high in our system which had the potential to damage healthy tissues. Eventually, adrenal fatigue causes constant sleepiness or insomnia, foggy thinking, fatigue that can go from temporary weakness to permanent exhaustion, weight gain, depression, irritability, and mood swings. As the adrenal glands become depleted, adrenal exhaustion sets in giving way to a variety of serious health conditions.

Also, from the metaphysical view point, feeling overwhelmed and stressed will inhibit your potential to manifest abundance because feeling overwhelmed is a low vibration state!

So what can you do to ease on anxiety and on feeling overwhelmed?

  • Nutrition– cut down on stimulants, decrease refined carbohydrates, increase green leafy vegetables in your diet, drink plenty of water, and take a nutritional supplement.
  • Rest– sleep at least 7 to 8 hours per day, and take breaks from activities throughout the day.
  • Lifestyle– reduce your stressors consciously, exercise more and take frequent walks, practice yoga, dedicate time to an activity that you enjoy, breathe properly and deeply on a regular basis, and meditate.

Personal development is a life-long endeavor, one that takes a conscious decision, courage, determination, dedication, effort, patience, and study time, among other things. Besides working on your mindset and your attitude, you must also have an inquisitive and open mind not only to research and learn what excites you, but to be able to recognize the subtle variations in the vibrations within you and around you; so when you need a boost, you can recharge your energy and remain positive overall.

However, despite your determination and apart from recognizing your countless blessings and the many things you have to be grateful for, there are days in which stress may get the best out of you and leave you with a feeling of doom and gloom… Does it sound familiar? Yes, we’ve all “been there”… at one point or another we all have felt drained as we absorb other people’s emotional states and negative vibes from the environment and from what happens around us.

This comes about as a result of pressures at work, when you get sick, feel tired or have not slept well, when you have a misunderstanding with a loved one and get hurt, when a communication barrier arises, and even when we watch the news. As a result, you end up feeling worn out. It can be tough to regain your strength and feel positive again. This is when you need to take some time for yourself to recharge your energy and renew your spirits.

Here are a handful of ideas to help you recharge your energy and recover from less than perfect situations in life.

  • Take a Break from It “All” in a Snap!

Leave the cause of your stress for a few minutes, both physically and mentally. This tip is applicable particularly when you are feeling overwhelmed because of many things going on around you at the same time.

Find a place to sit quietly by yourself and close your eyes for a few moments. Take a few deep breaths and relax. In your mind, recite your favorite affirmation a few times to yourself, slowly. After a few minutes, take a deep breath again and gently open your eyes. This short break can give you a new perspective on the issue – or issues – at hand.

  • Meditate

This is similar to the previous one but a bit more formal, so to say. Take 20 to 30 minutes to just “be” with yourself. Close your eyes and breathe deeply and slowly a few times until you feel peace inside by disconnecting your mind from the outside world. Focus on the air going in and out of your longs. This feeling will initiate a meditative state.

Try not to think of anything if at all possible. If that is difficult, focus your mind on an imaginary object or a vision that can relax you. Here are a few ideas. You can make variations as you see fit:

    • A great shower of light is bathing you and enfolding you in warmth. This light not only wraps you but fills your being with peace all the way to the core.
    • You are a feather floating in the air. You become lighter and lighter as you glide downward. You finally touch the ground, softly and gently. You landed on a beautiful prairie. As you lie there, you realize all negative feelings and heaviness have left your body. You are basically weightless.
    • As you breathe in, you inhale peace, as you breathe out you release all ill feelings and stress. As you breathe slowly and deeply, imagine all the negative thoughts and feelings you are releasing. You may want to add color to your visualization; i.e. breathing in reflects peace, the air going in is light blue; breathing out reflects stress, the air is bright red or dark.

A relaxing piece of music can help in your meditation. Also, listening to the music alone and letting it wash away your worries and concerns can also work, even without using your imagination. Music is known as a way to recharge your energy because of its inherent vibrations (more on this in a minute)… Try several variations and see what works best for you.

  • Replenish Your Energy from Mother Nature

You don’t need to go too far to do this. If you don’t live by the ocean or the mountains, you can draw energy from focusing on the beauty of a simple flower, a bird, or a tree. Take note of the object’s every detail. What color is it? Shape? How does it move with the wind? What is the texture? Is it smooth? Drink or absorb its essence and imagine this essence filling you with positive renewed energy.

  • Ask for Energy

As they say… “Ask and you shall receive”… The people who love and support you can be a very powerful source of new energy.

Their help can be especially valuable to recharge your energy when you are having a hard time replenishing it on your own, and especially if they are positive by nature.

When you are feeling tired, overwhelmed or depressed, you can ask people close to you to send you energy. You can make your request by letting them know how you are feeling and that you need positive energy.

They can share theirs with a fuzzy hug, a warm smile, a pat on the back, making you laugh, or simply by keeping you company, all of which are empathetic actions.

  • Give Your Energy to Others

You may think that when you are down, sad or stressed, you are depleted of all of your energy and that you no longer have any to spare; much less to give away.

However, sometimes the act of giving that little energy you have will initiate the giving and receiving cycle and you will very likely end up receiving more. For example, if a friend has a problem and asks for your opinion and support, you could end up forgetting about your own worries for a moment and focus your attention on him/her. When you do this, there is an exchange of energy where you offer support. The mere act of giving energy in this manner will actually help you recharge your energy by drawing it back to you.

How To Raise Your Vibrations 

to Manifest Your Desires

If you have been studying the law of attraction for awhile, you know that there is one concept that comes up often at the top of the list… You MUST raise your vibrations in order to manifest your desires.

Yes, I’m sure you have read or heard this numerous times BUT… What exactly does it mean to raise your vibrations? How do you go about raising your vibrations? And once you are doing it… how do you know if you are indeed raising your vibrations to attract what you want? For many, these questions remain unanswered and as such, it leaves them wondering how to move forward with this “vibration and manifesting” concept… So let’s explore this in more detail.

Question #1… What does it mean to raise your vibration?

To better understand this, let’s take a couple of minutes for a physics mini-lesson. Vibration is defined as the rhythmical and rapid motion of particles. When two bodies vibrate at the same frequency, they are said to be in resonance. This means they are attuned with each other.

Now, according to Quantum Physics, every single thing in the universe is energy. From this premise, it is safe to conclude that solid objects are a form of energy expressed as physical matter. And, since matter is composed of particles, energy is also particles. Correct?

In short, matter and energy are interchangeable, meaning one can “be converted into” the other. Thus, the only difference between the physical and non-physical is the state of the energy which is determined by the amplitude and frequency of the motion of its particles. This is what is called “vibration rate” and what allows for the invisible to become visible when your inner vibration is attuned with the vibration of the intended object or result.

Are you with me so far? OK, great. End of physics mini-lesson  🙂

Now, as human beings we perceive the world around us from the vibrations we receive and process through our five senses. Our brain interprets these signals and gives them meaning. This happens all the time either consciously or unconsciously.

When you hear a bird chirping, for instance, your brain receives the signals through your auditory sense and interprets the vibrations caused by the sound waves emitted by the bird. When you see a rainbow, your eyes are conveying to your brain the reflection of the light waves which are created by vibrations.

The same goes for touch. When you hold a glass of ice water you feel it cold because its molecules are vibrating at a lower frequency than those of your body temperature and as such, you feel the vibrations of cold.

Sweet or sour, bitter or salty, whatever you taste also manifests from the vibration of the molecules in the foods that you are putting in your mouth. Then, when you perceive the aroma of a rose is because its molecules vibrate in the air which you perceive through your sense of smell.

These interpretations of our brain create feelings and emotions which are also vibrations. For instance, imagine you are walking on a calm beach, watching a beautiful sunset, enjoying the warm temperature on your skin, listening to the waves breaking offshore and smelling the salt in the air… how do you feel?

According to memories and prior experiences you may or may not like the ocean; regardless of your feeling, it creates a vibration. If you enjoy this experience, you will raise your vibration. If this doesn’t bring good memories to you, your vibration decreases. The same is true for every thought and memory that comes to mind, so make it a habit to watch what you are thinking of on a regular basis. Remember that thoughts and memories do not necessarily match your present moment!

Are you getting a better picture on how you create and raise your vibration? Once you are aware of this, you understand that you can create them intentionally. Let’s move to Question #2 to learn how to raise your vibrations at will.

Question #2… How do you go about raising your vibrations?

When you are feeling down, have received bad news or just when things aren’t going your way, you are vibrating at a lower rate. Acknowledge that if you stay in that state, you will attract more of the same.

The good news is that you can do something about it. There are not one or two, but literally hundreds of ways in which you can raise your vibrations. I will list five of my favorite ones below and I invite you here to share what has helped raise your vibrations to manifest something, no matter how small it was! Sharing and learning from each other will only help us all manifest our desires faster!

  • Music
     
    This is one practice that I keep close at heart. I have a collection of CDs with my favorite New Age and instrumental music that sends me to a higher vibration right away! And speaking of the sense of hearing, white noise also has the power to raise my vibrations. I enjoy listening to rain, waterfalls, and rivers, among other Mother Nature’s noises
  • Reading
     
    Nothing better than reading an inspirational non-fiction story to raise my vibrations! I especially like biographies of people who have had challenges and overcame them regardless of circumstances.
  • Journal Writing or Scripting
     
    When I take a few moments to write about the things I feel grateful about, I immediately feel a shift in my energy! However, writting habitually is even better. It helps you raise your vibrations as you do and then it is easier to maintain them in between your journaling sessions. Give it a try… it is also very conforting to the soul.
  • Walks by the lake or on the sand
     
    In general, being outdoors and in contact with Mother Nature is a great tonic for my vibes. One of my favorites is walking on the beach, especially during sunset when the views are fantastic as I get to appreciate Mother Nature’s canvas in vivid color!
  • Meditation
     
    Whenever I’ve had a stressful day (stress lowers your vibrations) I take a few minutes to put my mind at ease through meditation. I can feel uplifted right away just by focusing on my breathing and letting go of thoughts. Try it!
    Your turn to share… what do you do when you feel down? How do you quiet your mind to alleviate your worry or release your stress? Can you think about something that you manifested, no matter how small it was? What happened right before then? How were you feeling right before you got what you wanted?

    You probably didn’t know that by soothing yourself in a certain way you were instinctively raising your vibrations… and by doing so, you were facilitating the manifestation of your desire – but now you do!

    Question #3… How do you know if you are raising your vibrations to match those of what you want to manifest?

    This is the easiest step in the manifesting process for once you know how to raise your vibrations; the next step is visualizing what you want from that state of emotion. Here is an example:

    Let’s say that you have been stressed out because your car has left you stranded often recently and your intention is to manifest a reliable car. Notice how you feel every time you think about your old car… stressed out equals low vibrations. Now, take a few moments to put your mind at ease. You may choose to take a walk and focus on the good things you have in your life. Become aware of how you are raising your vibrations just by doing this.

    Next, visualize yourself driving the car you want. Add detail to your visualization until it appears so real as if you could almost touch it… then, allow yourself to feel the emotion. Stay in that state for as long as you want and then bring your visualization to an end by affirming… “This is so; it has already happened.” Now, take action – start looking for the car you want. Don’t worry about how it will happen, just move forward with confidence. Repeat as often as possible until your new car is parked on your driveway!

An Essential Trait for Success

Have you ever set targets for yourself that you’ve not been able to achieve or attain? And… did you end up wondering just why things don’t seem to work out in your favor?

Perhaps the goal was too big, too complicated, too surreal? If this has happened to you, you are not alone. Millions of people never seem to achieve success in various goals they set up for themselves; and these very people often times lose hope in their abilities to do well on anything.

Interestingly, many fail to acknowledge that their not achieving a goal seldom has to do with the goal itself. It is easier to blame external factors; it is less painful than admiting that they may be lacking one of the main elements of success: Perseverance.

This character trait is essential for becoming successful in personal relationships, social situations, business endeavors, and anything else, regardless of how small or how enormous the goal might be.

What exactly is Perseverance?

Perseverance is the ability to start and the drive to continue steadfastly on the path towards any goal you set for yourself. Frequently this factor alone is the difference between failure and success. Perseverance is also a personal value, because it gives shape and strengthens your character which allows you to keep your focus on your goal.

Let’s take a look at the first part of the definition. You probably agree that most people who set a goal for themselves have ‘the ability to start’ working on their goal, especially if it’s something they’ve been wanting for a while. It is the second part “the drive to continue steadfastly…” that most fail at.

There are multiple reasons for this. Perhaps they realize that there is too much work involved and the price is not worthy enough. Maybe they changed their mind or decided on another goal. There is also the possibility of having lost interest in a particular thing. All of this is perfectly fine as long as the reason justifies their leaving their goal behind.

However, more often than not, people becoming distracted, too busy, sidetracked, or just get plain lazy. If this is the case, no matter how many goals they set for themselves, they will never accomplish anything if determination and perseverance are not present.

Thus, the minute you accept and come to the realization that nothing fundamentally good comes without hard work, determination, and perseverance, the sooner you will be on your way to attaining your every goal you set your mind to.

Let’s clarify one important point here. Perseverance doesn’t mean you have to do one particular thing over and over in a compulsively manner while expecting a different result. That is actually a version of insanity. When you have been on the same path more than once without achieving the result you seek, it may be a good idea to stop and evaluate the factors that are not working.

Based on your findings and conclusions, you will be in a better position to make a conscious decision to either pursuing a different approach or persevere on the same path. After all, all roads lead to Rome and some are less treacherous than others. Taken this into consideration, you will determine if your perseverance is based on tenacity and resolve or just plain stubbornness.

Another point to consider is your level of confidence. Being either doubtful about your abilities or overconfident of what you “have in the bag” are two states of mind that will undoubtedly determine the level of success you achieve.

Unfortunately, both mindsets result in people achieving less than their potential could allow them to. As the saying goes, “Hard work never killed a man”; the more effort you put into achieving success, the more likely it will be for you to actually achieve it… and for this you need dedication and determination.

You may not necessarily achieve what you pursue in the time you envision, but that’s just what it means to persevere. As long as you know you are on the right track… keep pushing, keep trying, and don’t succumb to frustration and despair until you hit your target.

A note of caution: Regardless of how exciting your goal may be, from time to time you will most likely become discouraged when things don’t seem to go as planned.

This is when it is essential to motivate yourself at that moment, and then on a regular basis. You can help yourself in several ways like with daily affirmationsvisualizations, journal writing, reading inspiring quotes, or engaging in a fun activity that distracts your mind from the temporary bump. And then my favorite one is to have a vision board hanged by your desk, where you can see it often and reflect on your “why,” the reason you want to achieve your goal.  Here’s a variety of tools to help you along with motivation and inspiration.

Above it all, remember that failure does not have to be an option once you know and practice the elements of the formula for success. Acquiring the trait of perseverance will allow you to have a more rewarding and enriching life, as you get to achieve goal after goal as you please. Imagine what that will do to your self-esteem and self-confidence!

One of the first things we learn about the law of attraction and quantum manifesting, is that in order to manifest our desires, we must begin by taking control of our thoughts. However, even before we attempt to take control or change our thoughts, we must become aware of a few facts, and consciously acknowledge and accept them.

First and foremost, know that you are the creator of your own reality and destiny. This implies a great deal of responsibility. If you are ready to change your life experience, you must accept this responsibility in its entirety.

This means you start by studying your thought patterns to then understand why you act the way you do and clearly see why you are getting the results you experience.

Second, realize that everything you wish for already exists on another plane of existence or in different form. As you know, everything IS energy and as such it cannot be created nor destroyed, only modified. Thus, like a child playing with play-dough, you have an amazing opportunity to mold and create what you want starting with what you have.

Third, atoms are made up of non-solid subatomic elements that are neither particles nor waves; however, they can behave like both. As strange as this may sound, this allows for these bits of energy to behave according to the observer and his intention. In other words, they are 100% malleable and from that premise you can conclude that there is only one constant in every ‘experiment’ in your life and that is YOU.

Did you watch it? Now you know it is YOU who gets to decide how these particles are to behave in order to create what you want in your life… when you think about it, the possibilities are truly unlimited! As soon as you internalize these concepts and make them yours, you start living from the knowing versus from the wishing for, hoping for, dreaming of…  and once you achieve this inner knowing, then and only then will quantum manifesting become as easy as child’s play.

As hard as it is to believe the unseen, consider this… Buckminster Fuller, American inventor, author and creator of the term “Spaceship Earth” said that 99.99% of science is invisible to our five senses and nevertheless it is very real!

I’d like to add an example that we can relate to because we all have experienced it at one time or another… the common cold. Caused by a microscopic virus that cannot be seen with the naked eye… does the fact that we cannot see the virus makes it non-existent? That’s non-sense, right?

The fact is we -human beings- live interacting with our surrounding environment through our five senses, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that we perceive ALL that exists. It’s been proven, for instance, that certain animals can perceive high pitch sounds that are non-audible to humans. This only means that there is stuff happening around us that we are not even aware of!

Furthermore, we are creatures of habit and like such, we are used to certain things behaving in a certain way. Thus, it takes time to create a shift in our personal and collective paradigms. Add to this that we are living in the middle of one of the largest paradigm shifts that mankind has ever experienced and it is easy to see why we may experience some resistance to openning our minds to the possibilities when we first hear of quantum theory and quantum manifesting.

About 300 years ago, Sir Isaac Newton revolutionized the world when he began describing the phenomena that surrounded him in a mechanical and practical way that explained how everything worked and why it worked the way it did.

At the time, everything was easily proved as he used ‘observation’ with the naked eye as his main scientific tool. For instance, when he observed an apple falling from a tree, he discovered gravity.

Those concepts evolved into the laws of physics that ruled the world for about 200 years. Then, a new era of sub-atomic energy emerged in the late part of the 19th century and everything changed.

The new Quantum Mechanics Theory has opened a new door to view and experience the world around us in a very different way and it challenges Newton’s laws as scientists begin to admit that the mere act of observing can change the result of any experiment according to the observers’ intention. Looking at this concept a bit deeper we realize that the observer and the observed are not separate… you and I, and every other person and thing in the universe, are all connected. You’ve probably heard that we are “star dust” and it makes perfect sense. Every single thing in existence today came from the primordial energy, which was the size of a pea when the Big Bang ocurred!

This understanding is what creates the new paradigm, a completely new way to perceive the world, life, our reality and every single thing. Everything is subjective. We are part of a consciousness that is interconnected and it is all ultimately, one energy.

The concepts above lead to the Quantum Manifesting principle. When we learn to use our mind to ‘observe’ our reality the way we intend it to be, we are actively engaging in quantum mechanics to manifest our desires; meaning, we are attempting to mold and create a certain reality.

We do this by applying what we know of the wave/particle duality to our advantage. In other words, the observer (you) of an intention (the ‘experiment‘) can change the outcome according to intention where the purpose itself rearranges particles in a precise way out of waves with multiple possibilities.

The keywords here are intention and observation. Picture the waves of possibility extended throughout space and all the way to the infinite. They are one thing and all things simultaneously. They are in this state indefinitely when they remain unobserved.

Once observed with a particular intention, these waves contract abruptly (quantum jump) aligning themselves into precise patterns according to that specific intention and create an outcome that materializes accordingly. This is what we call Quantum Manifesting.

When we live passively throughout life, we are manifesting by default, by chance and as things happen… it all happens unconsciously. Know that when you are not making a decision, you are making a decision… the decision not to decide; thus, things happen randomly and on automatic.

Realize that you –as an observer have the potential to manifest by true intention and choice through Quantum Manifesting by deciding to do so. Knowing this… what will you decide? what will you choose to manifest in your life experience from now on?

All of us have difficult days every now and then, days in which we wish we were feeling more positive to endure the complexities of life. We may try to convince ourselves that these things happen in life, that it’s no big deal, and that this soon ‘shall pass.’ While these thoughts are positive in nature and even a bit encouraging, they may not be enough to get us into a better state of mind. Truth is, it may not be as easy as it sounds.

  • Take a walk
     
    Most of us know that taking a short daily walk is a wonderful form of physical exercise. And when we are feeling down it is also beneficial for our inner state. So, if you feel overwhelmed or if things are not going your way, take a walk in a natural location where you can admire plants, birds and yes, even butterflies.
     
    Take deep breaths and feel your lungs expand with fresh air. Make it a point to focus in the beauty of nature and smile. Forget about your problem for a few minutes. You will not only feel more relaxed and happier, but will look at your situation from a different angle when you return to it.
  • Listen to beautiful music
     
    Research has proven that music is a great tool to shift the listener’s state of being within moments. Its effects can be almost magical.When you feel blue, dig out that CD you haven’t listened to in years or tune in your favorite radio station to something you have not listened to in awhile, or even something totally new. If stress is getting the best out of you, classical music may be helpful as well. Vivaldi tones are known to improve mood and overall well-being.

  • Be open to discover and explore something new
     
    Go to a library and read something different than what you’d normally read. Go to a bookstore and browse through the magazine section. What catches your eye? Buy a magazine you wouldn’t normally buy. This will help you open your mind to learning a new thing or two, and/or feel the enthusiasm of discovering a wonderful activity or new hobby.
  • Laugh out loud!
     
    Laughter is the best medicine. We’ve all heard this phrase and it is true! Laughter is one of the best ways to lift your spirits and it is free.Read a humorous book, or watch a comedy. Allow yourself to laugh big! Try to learn a few new jokes to share with others. And don’t take life too seriously. We’ve all been silly at times. We’ve all goofed off some other times. It’s totally OK to learn to laugh at ourselves too!
  • Learn to breathe and meditate
     
    Breathing-meditation is a great exercise that you can do anywhere for just a few minutes and it has wonderful side effects. Simply look for a place where you won’t be disturbed, and sit comfortably with your back straight. Then, close your eyes and place your attention on the flow of air going in and out of your nostrils and follow it all the way to your lungs. Do this slowly.
     
    Relax and smile as you do it. For better results, add an imaginary color to the air that goes in and out. Choose a bright color going in, and a darker color going out. Associate colors with your mood; i.e. pink for happy, brown for unhappy. Breathe happiness in and let go of unhappiness. That’s all there is to it. When you do this for 10 to 15 minutes, you will be pleasantly surprised at how you will feel afterward!
  • Drawing for fun
     
    Do you remember when you used to scribble for hours as a child? We all loved drawing silly little pictures when we were younger. And doodling is not just for kids or artists, so go get a few pens, color pencils, crayons or whatever you have and just draw whatever comes to you for the fun of it. Notice how you get distracted as your state of mind shifts. On a stressful day, this can be therapeutic!
  • Acknowledge the less fortunate
     
    The fact that you are reading this article and have access to the web suggests that most likely you are much better off than most people on this planet. It may be hard to believe, but those two things alone mean that you are better off than most people in the world.
