About Me

Thanks for stopping by!

My name is Tammy Baruhovich. I’m the founder, publisher, and editor of  the Tools for Abundance website, the Tools for Abundance Blog, and the Abundance4Me ezine, all dedicated to your personal growth and improvement so you can live an abundant life.

It all started as a dream of mine, back in 2007. My desire was to promote positive thinking and self development to all who wished to create a better life experience for themselves. That’s when Abundance4Me was born with just a simple landing page and a handful of friends.

Frankly, I didn’t expect the success that followed. After just 10 months of delivering valuable, useful content uninterruptedly, my subscriber list was growing steadily and they were querying for more. The time to create a website to contain the content, interactions, and testimonials became the obvious next step to take… and although very challenging at times, it’s been a wonderful experience overall. Tools for Abundance was launched early in 2008 and re-launched after a well-deserved facelift on January of 2017.

But I’m getting ahead of myself… where did this passion of mine came from?

I have been an avid personal development student since the mid 80’s. The very first person who introduced me to positive thinking and human potential was my father, a man who despite having gone through enormous life challenges has managed to become successful in life.

Thanks to my dad, I started reading self-improvement books and documents in my youth. My very first read was “Think and Grow Rich,” a classic by Napoleon Hill. In spite of having been written in the first half of the 20th Century and intended for men, some concepts in the book intrigued me and awakened my curiosity. From then on, I kept on searching, studying and practicing many of the things I was learning. That was many years ago and I haven’t stopped ever since. As time passed, my enthusiasm for personal development has only grown and developed into an earnest interest to learn about the inner workings of the mind, especially considering the new findings at the forefront of science and technology.

I have studied, learned, and practiced various methodologies to improve myself, such as self-hypnosis, tapping, affirmations, autosuggestion, and subliminal messaging, to name a few. I’ve also read and studied a vast number of books related to self growth -some inspiring and some other practical in nature- and continue to do so to this day.

From New Thought Movement to Quantum Theory and everything in between, I’m constantly reading with both, fascination and an open mind. Some of my favorite New Thought authors are James Allen, Wallace Wattles, Robert Collier, Joseph Murphy, Norman Vincent Peale, and Charles F. Haanel. And among the contemporary authors that I enjoy reading and learning from are Tony Robbins, T. Harv Eker, Bob Proctor, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Marianne Williamson, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, Louise Hay, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Paulo Coelho, and John Redfield, to name a few.

On a more personal note, I’m the proud mother of two young men, Ari and Danny who are my two main priorities and the love of my life. I have learned more from them and from being a mother that from any other experience in life. I’m also a daughter, a sister and –I’ve been told- a good friend.

I hold a D.D.S. degree, a Masters in Humanistic Psychology, and a Diploma as a Certified Life Coach. My work experience includes dentistry, health promotion and health education, counseling, parent coaching and life coaching.

I have lived in the East and the West of this beautiful planet, and I am 100% fluent in both, English and Spanish. Having interacted with many people of multiple ideologies has helped in my further understanding of human behavior, and the values and beliefs that rule lives. Moreover, I have also experienced a life of ups and downs due to the constant changes in my own life. Because of this, I feel I can better relate, understand and connect with people of all backgrounds. These experiences have given me the opportunity to discover my true passion in life… being of service to others.

Thanks to this emerging technology, I’ve been able to expand beyond my locality to help people around the world. As an added benefit, I have struck up some amazing friendships all over the world which have enriched my life many times over.

I take great pride in what I do, thus, customer care and offering support are of extreme importance to me. Nothing compares to the satisfaction I get from helping people. It’s a privilege, truly. I feel blessed to have chosen this path and I thank YOU for the opportunity to be of help to you and other like-minded souls.

I hope the prior paragraphs have given you a brief insight into who I am, my background and values, as well as what makes me tick. When I say that your success is important to me, I mean it. This website was built with YOU in mind.
